TotalBoat Premium Boat Wax is a soft paste marine wax that provides long-lasting protection from UV radiation, dirt, salt, and oxidation. This easy-to-apply carnauba wax formula dries quickly, and is easy to remove.

Personal Safety

Surface Preparation

• Clean the surface thoroughly using TotalBoat Boat Soap. Remove any and all surface contamination including dust, dirt, grease, oils, water, or other waxes.
• For oxidized substrates, apply TotalBoat TotalBuff and TotalBoat TotalShine, as directed, prior to applying TotalBoat Premium Boat Wax.
• Ensure that the surface is completely dry before applying Premium Boat Wax.

Application

• For best results, apply TotalBoat Premium Boat Wax only when conditions are between 50-90°F (0-90% relative humidity), and when rain, dew, or other precipitation will not affect the application process.
• Avoid applying product to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight, as the wax will dry too quickly for easy removal.
• Work in small 2' x 2' areas (or smaller) at a time.
• Apply a thin, even film of wax to the surface using a wax applicator pad, terry cloth, or other clean cloth suitable for the application.
• Do not apply a heavy coating of wax.
• Allow the film to dry to a haze (this may take roughly 30 seconds to two minutes) and remove using a clean microfiber cloth, or a suitable soft terry cloth.
• For optimal protection, wait 24-48 hours and apply a second coat of wax in the same fashion as the first one.
• Reapply Premium Boat Wax if water-beading properties or the shiny finish are no longer acceptable.
