TotalBoat 4-Minute Fast-Setting Epoxy is a quick-cure, clear epoxy adhesive ideal for fast repairs and bonding a wide range of materials. The double-barrel syringe dispenses resin and hardener at the correct ratio automatically, ensuring reliable, strong bonds with no measuring required. This epoxy is resistant to diesel, oils, gasoline, and water, making it suitable for both household and marine applications.
Surface Preparation
- Abrade bonding surfaces to improve adhesion.
- Remove dust, grease, oil, water, wax, or any contaminants completely.
- Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before applying epoxy.
Application
Exothermic Reaction Warning: Mixing resin and hardener creates heat. Larger batches generate more heat.
- Apply between 50–90°F.
- Remove the mixing stick from between the black plungers.
- Point the syringe tip upward and allow air bubbles to rise before removing the cap.
- Snap off the tip and save it — it acts as a reusable cap.
- Dispense equal amounts of resin and hardener onto cardboard or plastic.
- To stop the flow, pull back slightly on the plunger.
- Mix thoroughly for 1–2 minutes using the provided stick.
- Total working time is approximately 4 minutes, volume dependent.
- Hold glued parts in place for 8–10 minutes while epoxy sets.
- Full cure occurs in 24 hours at room temperature.
