If your TotalBoat pumps get sticky, they can dispense the epoxy resin and hardener components at an uneven rate, resulting in an incorrect resin to hardener ratio, and improper curing.
To clean sticky pumps, take them off of their containers and soak them in white vinegar overnight. When the pumps are done soaking, wipe them off and allow them to dry completely before putting them back on their respective containers. Be sure to dispose of the vinegar properly, after cleaning the pumps.
If you decide to replace sticky TotalBoat epoxy resin and hardener pumps instead of cleaning them, they are relatively inexpensive, and you'll save yourself the time and effort.
