All epoxy systems, including TotalBoat epoxy products, require an exact mix ratio of resin to hardener in order to cure properly. So you don't want to add more hardener than required because you'll ruin your project.

However, it is possible to make epoxy cure faster. One way is to use a space heater or a heat lamp to raise the air temperature in your work area because a warmer ambient temperature will expedite curing.

Another way to make epoxy cure faster is to use the fast speed hardener for the particular TotalBoat epoxy you've chosen. Both the TotalBoat Traditional 5:1 Epoxy System and TotalBoat High Performance 2:1 Epoxy System have fast speed hardeners available: TotalBoat 5:1 Fast Hardener and TotalBoat High Performance 2:1 Fast Hardener. Note that because these fast speed hardeners help the epoxy cure faster, they also reduce your working time, so you'll want to take that into consideration.
