If you received leaking or partially full epoxy resin and/or hardener bottles, you must dispose of them properly - do not just throw them in the trash. Before disposing of the product, contact TotalBoat directly for disposal instructions.
Before you begin disposal, it's important to put on a pair of disposable gloves - do not get any of the material on your skin. Pour whatever's left in the leaking container into a new container that you can seal completely. You can use denatured alcohol or white vinegar to clean up any epoxy that has leaked. Before disposing of the bottle, react the remaining residual material in the bottle by adding a small amount of the other component into the bottle that was leaking, and spin and turn the bottle to mix. This allows and residual material react, becoming inert and safe for disposal. If you do not have any of the other component to mix and react with the residual material in the leaking bottle, you can rinse the bottle with denatured alcohol or white vinegar, then wait for the liquid material to evaporate by setting it in a safe place where it will not be disturbed. After the liquid evaporates, dispose of the bottle.
