If one component of TotalBoat TableTop Epoxy Resin is white and frothy, it's likely the resin, which has crystallized from improper storage below the recommended temperature range. This can be easily reconstituted by keeping the bottle tightly closed and placing it in a warm water bath at 130–140°F, shaking or stirring the material from time to time until all of the material inside reaches about 125°F. This will undo the effects of crystallization.
The hardener component can have a slight yellow color to it; however, once it is mixed with the resin and applied at the specified thickness, the yellow color will be indiscernible. Improper storage at higher temperatures than recommended, or exposure to moisture or UV can also make the hardener component turn a more noticeable yellow color over time.
