To determine whether unmixed epoxy is still usable, make a small test batch using the correct resin-to-hardener ratio and allow it to cure. If the test batch hardens properly, the epoxy is still usable.

Some yellowing may develop as epoxy ages. If the product is outside its stated shelf-life window, performance cannot be guaranteed, even if a test batch appears to cure properly.
