As an epoxy putty, TotalBoat FixWood is waterproof, but due to the natural expansion and contraction of wood substrates below the waterline, it should not be used as a substitute for underwater caulking or underwater seam compounds on wooden hulls due to the risk of delamination.

Can a pigment like black charcoal powder be mixed into the FixWood putty to make it black?
