TotalBoat TotalFair Epoxy Fairing Compound should not be used as a structural adhesive for bonding purposes. If there is a gap in the joint, it is best to fill that gap with a thickened epoxy like TotalBoat Thixo Thickened Epoxy Adhesive.

TotalFair is great for applications where you need sag resistance and good sanding properties. It can be used to smooth out the joint where two surfaces meet. Thickened adhesive epoxies such as Thixo may also work well for this application because they are structural adhesives that can be easily dispensed into small crevices and gaps with the included static mixing tips, but Thixo does not sand as easily.
