There are three different ways to dispense and measure TotalBoat Traditional 5:1 Marine Epoxy. All three methods are accurate and correct: using the included pre-calibrated pumps, measuring by volume, or measuring by weight. The ratio listed on the containers assumes the epoxy is being measured by volume using measuring cups.

When using the pumps, make sure they are fully primed. The pumps are calibrated specifically for this product system. The proper ratio is one pump of resin (20 cc) to one pump of hardener (4 cc), for a total of 24 cc at the proper ratio.

When measuring by volume, dispense 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener.

When measuring by weight, dispense 100 parts resin to 18 parts hardener.
