You can apply TotalBoat Penetrating Epoxy to medium density fiberboard (MDF) and it will make a great sealer to waterproof the surface, however, Penetrating Epoxy does not penetrate very deeply into MDF, because of the board's denisty. Before applying Penetrating Epoxy to MDF, make sure the surface is clean and dry, then sand and remove all sanding residue.
