For TotalBoat Lust Rapid Recoat Marine Spar Varnish and other TotalBoat varnishes, we only recommend using TotalBoat Spray Thinner 101. Xylene is a solvent commonly used as a spray thinner for polyurethane paints and varnishes. If you plan to use xylene, we recommend testing for compatibility.
