A few factors can cause orange peel texture in the finish of TotalBoat Wet Edge Topside Paint.

The viscosity of the paint may be too high. This can be remedied by thinning with TotalBoat Brushing Thinner 100 or TotalBoat Spray Thinner 101.

Orange peel can also be caused by application technique. It is important to follow the instructions for rolling, brushing, or spraying the paint.

Improper surface preparation is another possibility. The surface must be properly cleaned and sanded.
