TotalBoat Signature Interior Wood Stains are recommended when overcoating with TotalBoat Gleam Marine Spar Varnish and TotalBoat Lust Marine Spar Varnish. Varathane and Interlux stains have also been used successfully.

When applying varnishes over stains, allow the stain to dry for a minimum of 5 days and clean with denatured alcohol before applying the varnish.
