When Totalboat Thixo, Thixo Pro, Thixo Flex, Thixo Fast Cure, Thixo Wood, and Aluminum Boat Leaker Sealer are dispensed they do not have a specific numerical value for their viscosity. They are thixotropic.  This means that when their viscosity is measured using a viscometer, the numerical viscosity decreases both over time, and when the rate of speed of the equipment is increased (increased shear).

Unlike the other Thixo products, TotalBoat Thixo Low Viscosity has an initial mixed viscosity of 1,100 cP at 77°F.
