You can try applying TotalBoat Wet Edge topside paint to a PVC surface that's been properly cleaned to remove all contaminants, then sanded with 180-grit or 220-grit sandpaper. After sanding, wipe the surface with a clean, lint-free cotton rag dampened with acetone to remove sanding residue. Be sure not to let any drops of acetone or the dampened rag to sit on the surface or it'll become gummy. After wiping, wait a minute or two for the solvent to dry completely, then apply Wet Edge paint.
