You can apply TotalBoat Aluminum Boat Barrier Coat to any aluminum substrate that's been prepared properly, but keep in mind that this primer is not intended to be applied inside of fuel tanks because it's not designed to be in contact with gasoline or diesel fuels. But fuel tanks should not need to be coated for added protection because they're constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum.
