TotalBoat Lust marine spar varnish can be applied over previously applied paints and varnishes that are in good condition and prepared properly, but it is not compatible with previously applied TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish. Remove the synthetic Marine Wood Finish completely before applying Lust varnish.
