TotalBoat 2-Part Epoxy Primer is not safe for direct contact with food or water because it contains an industrial chemical called BPA (bisphenol A). If 2-Part Epoxy Primer is used in this type of application, it must be coated with a compliant and approved coating that will prevent the primer from coming in contact with the water.
