Next, grind or sand the metal until it's shiny and bare. Remove all traces of sanding residue. Wipe the bare metal surface again with a clean cotton rag dampened with the surface prep solvent, and allow to evaporate completely. Apply TotalProtect as soon as the surface is dry.
