TotalBoat Wet Edge topside paint can be applied to acrylic paint that is in good condition. The acrylic paint needs to have cured for at least 5-7 days, under normal curing conditions. After curing, scuff-sand lightly and remove sanding residue, before applying Wet Edge. It's important to note that the acrylic paint beneath the Wet Edge paint is softer and more flexible; the condition and proper surface preparation of the acrylic paint will determine the performance of the Wet Edge paint.
