TotalBoat Halcyon Water-Based Marine Varnish can be applied over properly prepared epoxy. The epoxy should be fully cured and washed with warm water to remove any possible amine blush, sanded with 220-320 grit sandpaper, and cleaned with denatured alcohol or acetone before application.
