Yes, you can apply TotalBoat Elixir paint over latex paint that has been cured for at least 5-7 days. The latex paint must be fully cured before applying Elixir.

Keep in mind that latex paint is much softer than Elixir, and Elixir will cure to the same surface texture as the latex paint beneath it.

To apply Elixir over cured latex paint, clean the latex paint surface to remove contaminants, sand lightly, and remove sanding residue before applying the Elixir paint.
