Limited food contact means food can come into contact with the cured epoxy surface. Some TotalBoat epoxies are BPA-free and safer for limited food contact after a full and proper cure.

An example of an acceptable use of these epoxies is a serving board.

TotalBoat epoxies are not recommended for coating surfaces where food will be cut or prepared. They should not be used to coat cutting boards.
