I just did my first small trial pour with fathom and black diamond pigment. It is a 11"x11"x 3/4" cutting board with epoxy poured both as a river in between live edge pieces and on the outer edge of the live edge as well. I have been curing for 7 days and I still have tackiness in some areas. The pours were a max of 100ml at a time and were stirred for atleast 3-4 minutes. The ambient temp was 70-80F. Is this normal? I also did not get much in the way of patterns generated by the exothermic process as I have seen in videos. I did stir the pour with a stick 2-3 times over the first 3-6 hours before it got too thick to stir. Why did I not get any patterns?

I have poured a mold for turning a bowl on a wood lathe.  I used the Fathom (2/1) as instructed and vacuum chamber for about 35 mins to remove some of the air in the casting which has various woods in it to give a resin/wood texture finish.  It has been in the pressure pot for 48 hours but the sample I left on the bench (small cup of leftovers) is still not hard and will take a finger depression easily. Its been 54 hours since pouring, is this what i should expect?  In the past i have used the regular epoxy and hardener (3/1) and it went hard within 24 to 36 hours, machining after 48.  Should i still be using the regular epoxy? Thanks.
