The recommended application temperature when using TotalBoat ThickSet epoxy for thicker pours - such as  smaller castings up to 3″, or larger slab pours up to 2″ - we recommend an application temperature at or below 75°F. For thinner pours – such as smaller castings under 1-½” or slab pours under 1″ –  we recommend using ThickSet Fathom between 70-80°F.

To help speed up the cure for all applications, after the reaction reaches peak exotherm – up to 90°F – you can increase the heat.
