To prevent TotalBoat ThickSet Fathom epoxy from cracking, yellowing, or shrinking, the maximum pour depth per layer is two inches (2″) for live edge slabs, epoxy river tables and other types of larger pours. If the final thickness will be greater than two inches (2″), do step pouring, in multiple layers, to achieve the best results. When doing step pours, wait at least 36 hours for the previous layer to cure before applying another layer of ThickSet Fathom epoxy.
