A new coat of TotalBoat Wet Edge high-gloss paint creates a durable, protective film that shouldn't need to be waxed. But after two to three years of exposure to the elements, you may want to apply a wax to maximize shine and protection. If you want to apply wax to Wet Edge that's been applied recently, wait at least 7-10 days in normal curing conditions for the finish to cure completely. Note that applying wax regularly to light colored paint, such as white, can eventually turn the paint slightly yellow.
