Yes, you can apply TotalBoat Elixir to properly prepared PVC and have it bond strongly, as long as you prepare the surface first. Make sure the PVC surface is clean and free of contaminants, then scuff-sand to a hazy texture with a Scotch-Brite® pad or 320-grit sandpaper. Dampen a clean lint-free rag with acetone and wipe the surface to remove sanding residue and clean the surface to help ensure that the Elixir paint bonds properly to the PVC.
