However, when TotalBoat Premium Marine Topside Primer is applied over a properly prepared substrate and allowed to fully cure, it can be overcoated with a two-part paint. Due to variations between brands, always perform a test sample before applying it to your project. Topside primer cannot be used as a coating between a one-part paint and a two-part paint.
