Sanding is not required between coats of TotalBoat Krypton Copper-Free Antifouling Bottom Paint. If it has been at least a week or two since the previous coat, it may be desirable to scuff-sand and solvent-wipe the surface to promote a good mechanical bond with the previous coat and ensure that no surface contamination has deposited on it.
