If the Sikkens Cetol is in good condition and has been on the surface for at least 72 hours, start by cleaning the area with TotalBoat Boat Soap and water. After drying, lightly sand along the grain using 220- or 320-grit sandpaper. Remove sanding residues, wipe the surface with a lint-free cotton rag moistened with TotalBoat Brushing Thinner 100. Ensure all solvents evaporate before applying TotalBoat Marine Wood Finish.
